ARTICLE: Meet CCU Florida's New President & CEO: Dan Kelley
We’re pleased to announce that Dan Kelley has been appointed as the new President & CEO of Community Credit Union of Florida.
Dan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the credit union industry. Since joining CCU Florida in 2018, he has served in several key leadership roles and played a pivotal role in helping the credit union grow from $700 million to $1.4 billion in total assets.
The CCU Florida Board is confident that Dan’s Proven Leadership, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to member service make him the right choice to lead the organization forward. “Dan has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication throughout his career,” said Board Chair Jim Platman.
Dan succeeds Laurie Cappelli, who retired at the end of May after more than 27 years of dedicated service in various leadership roles. Under her guidance as CEO, CCU Florida surpassed the $1 billion milestone and deepened its impact in the communities it serves.
As Dan steps into this new role, CCU Florida looks forward to continued growth and innovation under his leadership. He is committed to advancing the credit union’s mission: to always improve the financial well-being of our members and make a positive difference in the community.
