Good to Know:

While opening a checking account is a great first step in learning how to manage money, it does NOT build a credit history. To get the best rates when you borrow, lenders look for seven years of history in successfully managing credit. CCU's Savings-Secured Credit Card is a safe way to learn how to manage credit and start building that seven year track record. Qualified adult guarantor required for cardholders under age 18. Call to ask about a Savings-Secured Credit Card.

CCU is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. We are here to make money FOR you, not FROM you.

*Transactions counted through 5 pm ET on the last day of the month. ATM transactions do not count towards your total.

¹Rates as of October 1, 2018. Ask CCU for rates or click or tap here to view current rates for Free Checking Plus. Amount of dividend is based on your average daily balance for the month. ²If you do not use your debit card 20 times by 5pm ET on the last day of a calendar month and/or you are not enrolled in eStatements, no dividends will be earned. ATM transactions are not counted towards total. Account is still FREE even if you don’t earn dividends.
