How does the mortgage application process work?
First, call or meet with a CCU Mortgage Specialist or submit your application online.  Once your application is submitted, an appraisal may be ordered. Depending on the type of appraisal ordered, you may be contacted by an appraiser to schedule an appointment. A title report and a flood report will be ordered. We may also request some information to confim your employment and income.  We'll work with you to make sure you know what is needed from you along the way so that we can close your loan as quickly as possible.  Once all information has been received, we will review your loan for final approval, and then contact you to schedule a closing time.

What else do I need to know about applying for a home loan?
After you submit your home loan application, we may need some or all of the following information as part of the loan approval process:

  • Tax returns for the last two years
  • Pay stubs for the last two pay periods

What should I do if I already have a mortgage but am experiencing financial hardships?
