The CCU VISA Debit Card can be used for making purchases and as your ATM card. It is accepted worldwide wherever the VISA logo is displayed.* Funds come out of your CCU Checking Account. You may select your own Personal Identification Number (PIN), and you have access to over 50,000 fee-free ATMs. If your card is lost or stolen, you are protected against fraudulent purchases.**
When you visit a CCU branch to open your Debit/Checking account or to request a replacement card, you will receive a card on the spot! You do not have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail or call to activate when it is received.
*When withdrawing cash at another financial institution's ATM that does not participate in the free ATM network offered by CCU, member may incur a fee, plus a possible surcharge from the other financial institution, Please see Disclosures and Personal Service Fees.

To help prevent fraud to our members' accounts, CCU has blocked use of debit/credit cards in some foreign countries. If you are planning a trip outside the United States, please contact CCU so we can authorize your debit card for foreign use at least one week prior to traveling. You may also submit your request electronically by logging in to your account in eBranch Onling Banking, click on the "Additional Services" tab, then choose the "Travel Alert Form" and fill out your information. CCU can authorize your card for foreign use for a maximum of 90-days; however, we will only authorize your debit card for as long as you need it. If you require foreign use beyond the 90-day timeframe, you must notify CCU before that date for an additional 90-day authorization.
