Organizations and non-profit groups may open this special checking account with no monthly service fee and pays dividends when you maintain a minimum daily balance of just $600.* This is lower than the balance requirement on our Business Checking with Interest Account, which is intended for for-profit businesses. If you're not sure that you will typically meet the $600 requirement, consider our Simple Business Checking. It does not pay interest, but there is no minimum daily balance requirement.
All CCU Business Checking accounts include free VISA® Business Debit Cards that provide unique 16-digit card numbers for each employee card you request. CCU can assist you in settng specific spending limits for individual cards, or you can use the free SecurLOCK® Mobile App to set and manage limits yourself.
Good to Know: If your organization does fundraising that brings in coins, you will find our FREE coin counter service will save you 7-10% over other financial institutions. That means you keep more of the money you raised!
*A maintenance fee will not be assessed if you maintain a balance of $600 or more; however, if your balance falls below $600 at any time during the month, a low $5 maintenance fee will be assessed.
To open any CCU Business Checking Account, you must join CCU as a business member, pay a $5 membership fee, and maintain a $5 balance in your Business Savings Account. CCU business memberships are separate from personal memberships. If you are already have a CCU personal membership, please open a new membership for your business.
